Who is more frustrated, a NEET aspirant or a JEE aspirant?

Who is more frustrated, a NEET aspirant or a JEE aspirant?

Now, this is what I called an interesting topic to discuss. Some will say JEE is more frustrating, and others will say NEET is more frustrating. Everybody has their own opinion on this topic.

Let’s discuss the facts, so we can understand all the doubts(doodh ka doodh pani ka pani ho jayaga)

JEE vs NEET

In my opinion, both the exams have their level of frustration. But let’s put that aside and discuss the facts.

  1. NEET, there is only a single window exam for all the government medical colleges in India. A few years ago, they removed AIIMS and JIPMER also. Every medical aspirant will now have only one option.

Speaking of chances, JEE is conducted twice every year. But the more shocking news is that from this year(2021), JEE will be conducted 4 times a year. Are you kidding? Engineering colleges have their own state-level entrance exam to get into a college.

The main point is engineering students gets more opportunity that the medical students.

  1. No of seats:  Medical students got way fewer seats as compared to engineering students. Every year more than 10 lakh students apply for the engineering entrance tests and only 10K students don't get a seat in an engineering college. I mean this clearly tells you the no of seats available for an engineering student.

Here also, JEE got more chances.

  1. The scale of competition: With more aspirants and fewer seats for medical. I think competition is also high in NEET. Even though it is not that tough.

  2. Toughness: Speaking of toughness, no doubt JEE questions are tougher than that of NEET. A JEE aspirant has to tackle more tough questions than a NEET aspirant in their preparation. For NEET, solving last year neet question paper 2 to 3 times will somehow understand the exam patterns. But that is not the case in JEE.

So, in terms of toughness JEE wins.

So, yes these two have their own level of fear, stress, and difficulty. Every student does not always get their vibe to match with their exam. These 2 exams are of great importance nationwide.
